Product overview
The SWFI Series Automatic Disc Filter System provides grooved-disc filtration for suitable industrial, agricultural and commercial water applications in Sabah. A compressed stack of grooved discs retains suspended particles as water passes through the filter element. Automatic backwash changes valve positions and releases the disc stack for cleaning when the configured pressure-difference or timer setpoint is reached. H-Type and T-Type options, modular filter banks and suitable upstream sand-media or centrifugal separation stages can be reviewed for the required pipe layout and raw-water conditions. Select the filtration grade, number of units, materials and backwash arrangement to match the actual flow, water quality and downstream equipment.
Key features

Frequently asked questions
How does an automatic disc filter work?
Water passes through a compressed stack of grooved discs. Suspended particles collect within the groove intersections. The selected backwash arrangement releases and cleans the discs, flushing retained particles to drain.
When does automatic backwash start?
The controller starts a cleaning sequence when the configured pressure-difference or timer setpoint is reached. The selected system must have adequate backwash water pressure and flow.
Can this system help protect drip-irrigation emitters?
It can reduce suspended-particle loading when the filtration grade and capacity match the emitter requirements and raw-water conditions. Additional treatment may be needed for other causes of blockage.
Do the 40 and 60 m³/h references apply to every filter bank?
No. They are maximum-flow figures from the supplied F90HDZ and F110HDZ H-Type component references. Confirm the assembled system duty, filtration grade and hydraulic requirements for the chosen configuration.
How should I select a system for a Sabah site?
Provide peak and normal flow, a water-quality or solids-loading description, downstream filtration requirements, operating pressure, pipe connections, controller power requirements and available backwash/drain arrangements.
Discuss this product with SWFI in Kota Kinabalu
For a different number of filter units, H-Type/T-Type layout or combined pretreatment arrangement, send SWFI the required flow, water conditions and site details. Final configuration, specifications and availability require confirmation.
